Larry Sill
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Larry Sill brings a rich and varied musical background to his work as Artistic Director of the Green Valley Community Chorus. He studied choral conducting with Dr. David Strickler at Albion College in Michigan, and his
musicianship extends across piano, trumpet and numerous valve instruments, guitar, and bass guitar. Over the course of his career, he has directed a wide range of ensembles — sacred and secular choirs, barbershop quartets, and women's ensembles alike. Most recently, he served as Associate Director of Monterey Peninsula Voices in California and director of the Masterworks Chamber Singers in Tucson, experience he now brings to leading GVCC into an exciting new chapter.
Tamara Kahrimanis
ACCOMPANIST, ASSISTANT CONDUCTOR
Tamara Kahrimanis serves as accompanist and assistant conductor of the Chorus. She earned her M.A. from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania and performed with the New England Lyric Operetta. She sang with the Greenwich Choral Society, and was music director for Connecticut Playmakers community theater on such shows as Evita, Oklahoma, Annie, and more.
In Green Valley, Tamara is sought after for her concert piano arrangements. She was the vocalist for the Bavarian Brass Band for more than 10 years, and served as music director for 12 years at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. She was music director of the GV Summer Chorus for 5 years, and enjoys playing for various organizations and churches.
